Heya Monica ... it's been nice catching up with you again ... are you still painting much?
Thank you for your visits while I was in cyber exile - I appreciate it ...
From your previous post, the picture of the hands and the puppet strings is intriguing - did you take it? ... it makes me wonder how much we manipulate ourselves ...
I don't know that it's true that a woman loses her womanhood or a man his manhood as they age ... when I was younger I felt insecure about my 'manhood' but I have no doubts about it now - I'm at peace with the feminine side of my nature ... it's all a question of balance to me ...
Have you grown to love your new new bike yet? - it does look a bit more awkward than a mountain bike ...
ps ... I forgot to mention Celeste from your goat story post - as I was reading it I kept thinking about Leonard Cohen's song "Suzanne" - do you know what happened to her? ... did she move to the city with her mother?
The hands and puppet is taken by Tina Modotti.. Sometimes one wonders where the woman or man goes. True they don't go anywhere, nor are they really lost. I guess I am changing, its a midlife thing..I am alot more comfortable on the bike now..I am happy with it..Thanks :)...Celeste and her grandmother either bought another farm or moved in with relatives into their farm
